Truck maintenance depot - Northamptonshire

Requirements
Depot split into two external hard standing areas and internal maintenance bays
with integrated floor drainage (totalling an area of 4046 sq metres).
Within this site is located a vehicle washdown bay.

Notes
Operated 24hrs, the truck maintenance depot is a site with a large area of concrete hardstanding.
In addition to rainwater entering the drains are an array of pollutants -
these include oil, grease, road tar and dirt, diesel fuel, and hydraulic fluid.
A vehicle washdown bay also produces a quantity of road grit, dirt and debris.

The total site’s drainage is linked into the local foul sewer network and is regularly monitored by the local water authority.
